Norway, the snow country.

Noruega, o como aquí lo llaman Norge, que junto con Suecia, Dinamarca y Finlandia forman Escandinavia.
¿Cuántos de nosotros nos hemos imaginado alguna vez vivir en un mundo paralelo al nuestro?. Yo tengo la posibilidad de vivirlo durante de 10 días y pienso aprovecharlos al máximo!
PD.Este país ha sido la inspiración para crear este blog de viajes.


Norway, or as Norwegian people call it here Norge, which along Sweden, Denmark and Finland are Scandinavian.

How many of us have ever imagined living in a world parallel to ours?. I have the opportunity to live it for 10 days and I´ll use the time!

DÍA 1: SALIDA DE MADRID-BARAJAS A NORUEGA-OSLO.

26 de Enero, salida a las 12:00 desde el aeropuerto de Madrid, barajas.

Por desgracia, Noruega es un país que muy poca gente visita en invierno, por lo que tuvimos que hacer escala en Francia. (La espera fue de 4 horas). 

Los aviones noruegos son muy pequeños, solo hay dos filas con dos asientos cada uno.

              

                     1ST DAY: DEPARTURE FROM MADRID-BARAJAS TO NORWAY-OSLO.

January 26th, departure at 12:00 from Madrid, Barajas Airport.

Unfortunately, Norway is a country that only few people visit in winter, so we had to make a stop in France. (We´re wating for 4 hours).

Norwegian planes are very small, only two rows with two seats each.

DÍA 2: CLASES NORUEGAS.

Después de desayunar un "buffet" con nuestras familias de acogida, fuimos al colegio.

Aún era de noche cuando llegamos y... estuvimos tirándonos muchas fotos.

Los alumnos noruegos se reían de nosotros, porque ellos ya tenían muy vista la nieve, cuando nosotros realmente no habíamos visto nunca tanta nieve. Era una gran novedad para los alumnos españoles.

                                                     DAY 2: NORWEGIAN SCHOOL.

After a big Norwegian breakfast with our host families, we went to school.

It was still dark when we arrived and we´re taking many photos.

Norwegian students laughed at us because the snow is normal to they but we really had never seen so much snow. It was something new for Spanish students.

El sistema noruego en el colegio es muy diferente al español.

Ellos pueden comer en clase y tener los ordenadores.

Tiene mucha más libertad que nosotros y es mucho más divertido ir a clase.

DA GUSTO ESTUDIAR ASÍ! 

Con esto, no quiero decir que no estudien, solo que es más "chachi".

The Norwegian system in school is very different from Spanish.

They can eat in class and have the computers.

It has more freedom than us and is much funnier to go to class.

WE LOVE STUDY OF THIS FORM! 

This not to say that no study, just that it's more "Chachi." (Cool)

Cuando hicimos un descanso entre clase y clase, nos dedicamos ha hacer guerra de bolas de nieve y dimos una vuelta por los alrededores de Hokksund.

Fue muy muy divertido. La nieve no se acababa...

When we made a break between lessons, we did a snowballs war and we walked around Hokksund. It was really fun. The snow did not end ...

DÍAS 3 Y 4: FÍN DE SEMANA.

Muchos de vosotros os preguntaréis qué se puede hacer en un país nórdico donde en cualquier exterior hace frío. Nosotros hemos vivido un fin de semana noruego.

Saliendo poquito a la nieve y entrando en muchos sitios cerrados, como la bolera.

DAYS 3 AND 4: WEEKEND.

Many of you may wonder what can be do in a Nordic country where any outside it´s cold. We have already lived a Norwegian weekend.

Basically into many indoors places, as the bowling.

El domingo madrugamos y nos preparamos para hacer el típico deporte noruego, esquí de fondo. 

Es un deporte muy duro, los esquíes son muy estrechos y tienes que ir empujándote todo el rato con ayuda de los bastones. Muchos piensan que es un deporte aburrido, pero nosotros le encontramos el encanto.

On Sunday we got up early and we prepared for the typical Norwegian sport, skiing.

It's a very hard sport, skis are very narrow and you have to be pushing all the time with the aid of canes. Many people think it's a boring sport, but we will find the charm. 

Nuestras Claudias, pueden asegurar que nunca debes de salir de casa sin un par de calcetines de repuesto, y menos si vives en Noruega. 

Si te los has olvidado siempre se puede usar el calor humano.

Our Claudias, can ensure that you never leave home without a pair of socks, and less if you live in Norway.

If you have forgotten you can always use the warmth (human hot).

La nieve cubría los árboles, era algo precioso.

Nosotros aprovechamos el momento y le pedimos prestado el trineo a una niña y...

DISFRUTAMOS COMO UNAS ENANAS!
WE ENJOY LIKE A LITTLE GIRLS!

Después de hacer mucho deporte fuimos a casa de unos amigos noruegos, aquí lo llaman "meetings", para hablar, comer chocolate y entrar en calor.

After doing a lot of sport we went to stay with some Norwegian friends, here they call "meetings" to talk, eat chocolate and keep warm. 

Tomamos muchos tipos de chocolate: caliente, en barrita, M&M´S...

We had many types of chocolate: hot, bar, M & M'S ...

Este es el chocolate en barrita, lo que nosotros conocemos como KitKat, con la diferencia de que éste tiene menos calorías y es típico aquí en Noruega tomarlo después de esquiar. Nunca salen sin él!

This is the chocolate bar, which we know as KitKat, with the difference that it has less calories and is typical here in Norway take after skiing. 

They never leave without it!

DÍA 5:

Todos los días no se puede estar visitando sitios, así que nos hemos dedicado ha "estudiar" y hacer los deberes como chicos buenos, ¿Verdad?

                                                            

DAY 5:

Every day can not be visiting sites, so we have spent "studying" and do homework as good guys, right? 

Menos mal que tuvimos un descanso y un profesor de Educación Física nos sacó al patio ( Con -7ºC ) para jugar. Si, si... jugar con frío y nieve.

ACABAMOS EMPAPADOS!

Luckily we had a break and a P.Education teacher took us outside (with -7 º C) to play. Yes, yes ... with cold and snow playing.

WE JUST SOAKED! 

DÍA 6: VISITA A OSLO.

Oslo es la capital de este maravilloso país nórdico. Su área metropolitana es de 1.070.000 habitantes. Esta compuesta por la ciudad de Oslo y 18 municipios, de los que destacan Bærum, Drammen y Asker .

DAY 6: VISIT TO OSLO.

Oslo is the capital of this wonderful Nordic country. Its metropolitan area is 1,070,000 inhabitants. This comprises the city of Oslo and 18 municipalities, the most important are Bærum, Drammen and Asker.
